D&T Veterinary Centre is a small animal practice, which has serviced the veterinary needs of companion animals in Rugeley and the surrounding area for over three decades.
The Practice has links to the area going back even further having originally practiced in Church Street, Rugeley, a site which had offered veterinary services since 1923. Donnachie and Townley originally provided care for both farm and companion animals but became a small animal practice only earlier this year.
In 1992 the practice moved to The Veterinary Centre in Market Street in Rugeley - a purpose built premises, designed to provide the most comprehensive veterinary care available to your pet.
We have had a branch surgery in Stafford for many years but in March this year we moved to new purpose built premises on Madford Retail Park, Foregate Street, Stafford, ST16 2QY. Here we provide consultation, surgical, imaging and diagnostic facilities for companion animals.
Both of our premises are accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Practice Standards Scheme in both Core Standards and Tier 2 Small Animal General Practice, having received on-site evaluations by an external examiner from the RCVS. We also have achieved silver status in the Cat Friendly scheme in both of our practices, something our staff are very proud of.
