Donnachie & Townley (D&T) Veterinary Centre is a small, but friendly practice in Staffordshire where pet, client and staff care at the heart of everything they do. The team are experienced in new graduate support, with a mix between experience but being young enough to remember the pressures faced by new graduates. The small team makes for a perfect, supportive, informal learning environment as well as access to emotional and well-being support.
D&T has all the usual equipment, including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, capnography, ECG and laboratory facilities, including a microscope with camera and tablet that is ideal for teaching. The team currently offer acupuncture on site and are looking to further develop other services offered in-house, including surgery and physiotherapy.
Both sites are silver status in the ISMF Cat Friendly Practices, and D&T was awarded Best Small Animal Practice In Staffordshire in 2020 by the SME awards. The team are also working towards two RCVS Awards and their Bronze Accreditation in the iiE sustainability programme.
The enthusiastic and dedicated team at D&T are ready to support a new graduate in their transition from university to clinical practice and welcome them into the D&T family!
