We are currently accepting applications for EMS placements at Donnachie & Townley – here’s some more information about what a placement might look like for you at our practice.
EMS student experience
We have a supportive, experienced team; we encourage students to engage and use the experience to its full potential. We are cat / rabbit friendly accredited and offer a full range of imagery including dental radiographs. We have been a training practice for over 20 years and pride ourselves in a good student journey.
Opportunities available for EMS students and working hours
We ask students to complete a full working week however we do not expect students to work beyond 6pm or at the weekends.
What we expect from our EMS students and what they can expect in return
We encourage students to involve themselves in all areas. we have a lovely twin theatre which is glass partitioned and lends itself perfectly for training purposes. We give any student a practice mentor to be a guide, point of contact and to discuss elements of the placement before they arrive so we can tailor a package to suit the student’s requirements
Travel and accommodation
Train stations near both sites and good public transport links. Unfortunately, there is no accommodation available.
Are there any accessibility considerations that I might need to take into account at your practice?
Rugeley is a split level practice whereas Stafford is over one level.
