Rabbit care

Having been in lockdown, and with schools closed for almost ten weeks, there has been a surge in parents getting rabbits for their children. Revised opening hours

Due to COVID-19 social distancing rules we currently have less staff on site each day than normal, which is restricting the volume of work we can do each day.  In order to be here for you when you need us we have decided to increase our opening hours at both of our branches. During the month of June Rugeley will be open from 8am-6pm 7 days a week, and Stafford will be open from 8:30am-6pm Monday to Saturday. On Sundays, our Stafford branch will be dedicated to vaccination or theatre appointments to allow us to fit in delayed vaccines and more essential operations. These will be pre-booked surgeries only. All phone calls and emergencies will go through our Rugeley branch on Sundays.

Hearing dogs

We love dogs; they’re amazing companions - fun, loving, and they bring us lots of joy. But for some people their dog is more than just a pet – they’re a lifeline. Most of us are familiar with Guide Dogs, who are bred and trained to help people with visual impairments navigate their way around outdoors. But did you know that Hearing Dogs also exist, to support people with hearing loss?
